Mendly repairs phones and laptops. This page explains, in plain language, what we do with the details you share when you book a repair or use this website.
What we collect
When you book a repair we ask for your name, email address and phone number, the device you need fixed and a description of the problem. If you choose a pickup, we also ask for the address we should collect from.
We keep a record of each repair, including its status, your quote and any messages we send you, so you can follow it on your tracking page.
How we use it
We use your details only to carry out your repair: to contact you about it, send you a quote, tell you when it is ready and return your device. We never sell your details or use them for unrelated marketing.
We do not look through the files on your device. Most repairs do not need your passcode, and if one does, we ask you first.
Emails we send
We email you a booking confirmation and updates about your repair. These emails can contain a small tracking image and tracked links, which tell us whether a message was opened and which link was clicked. We use this only to make sure important updates reach you.
Visitor statistics
We count visits to this website with privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies and do not identify you personally.
How long we keep it
We keep repair records for as long as we need them to honor your warranty and meet our legal obligations, and then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time for a copy of the details we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete them. Just get in touch using the details below.
